Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Manage and maintain ownership of UPPAP approvals for both production and New Product Introduction (NPI) hardware across all customer accounts.
Communicate PPAP requirements to sub-tier suppliers and maintain documentation to ensure ongoing compliance.
Maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) software infrastructure and ensure adherence to customer compliance timelines.
Define and communicate flow-down requirements for outside services and raw materials.
Track and maintain accurate records of customer-owned materials and tooling.
Lead initiatives to advance the implementation of the Digital Thread and Model-Based Definition / Model-Based Inspection (MBD / MBI) practices within the engineering team.
Outline metallurgical testing plans and document substantiation requirements.
Prepare and submit formal customer approval requests as needed.
Standardize and organize network drive structures for efficient data access and management.
Establish Bills of Characteristics and set up associated requirements in customer-specific portals.
Utilize DISCUS ballooning software and IDA (Inspection Data Analysis) tools as part of documentation and inspection processes.
Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet customer demands and expectations.
Develop and write engineering work instructions; conduct training sessions as necessary.
Ensure that manufacturing work instructions are consistent with and adhere to established standard work practices.
Interpret and apply information from blueprints, engineering instructions, and technical specifications.
Escalate issues or roadblocks encountered with customers or sub-tier suppliers to appropriate levels of management.
Perform other related duties as assigned or required that may not be listed in this job description.
Requirements :
Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by U.S. Government regulations and eligible to work without restrictions with ITAR-controlled data.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Proficiency in basic reading, writing, and advanced arithmetic.
Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with Microsoft Access.
Ability to read and comprehend engineering work instructions and technical documentation.
Must possess functional English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding).
Qualifications :
Green Belt Certification.
Experience with DISCUS ballooning software.
Proficiency in Minitab or similar statistical analysis tools.
