We are seeking a skilled MEP Quality Engineer ( Pharmaceutical Facilities )

Duties And Responsibilities

Oversee quality assurance and quality control for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems across design, installation, commissioning, and validation phases.

Ensure all MEP works comply with project specifications, GMP standards, FDA regulations, and client quality requirements.

Conduct inspections, audits, and testing of MEP installations to verify compliance with codes, drawings, and standards.

Develop and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality checklists specific to MEP systems.

Review and approve MEP-related quality documentation, including material submittals, FAT / SAT reports, and turnover packages.

Support commissioning and validation teams to ensure MEP systems meet operational readiness and regulatory compliance.

Identify, document, and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), facilitating root cause analysis and corrective / preventive actions.

Collaborate with project management, engineering, construction, and suppliers to resolve quality issues and maintain schedule integrity.

Maintain accurate records for inspections, tests, and audits to support regulatory audits and final handover documentation.

Authority

You have authority to stop the job if you feel there is an unsafe work practice which could result in a risk of injury, have an environmental impact, or risk to equipment and other personnel.

Carry out your duties to meet Quality, Safety, and Environmental requirements at all times.

Requirements

3-5 years' experience in quality engineering or quality assurance within MEP systems, preferably in pharmaceutical or life sciences projects.

Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA, and other regulatory standards applicable to pharmaceutical facilities.

Familiarity with HVAC, clean utilities, electrical distribution, and plumbing systems in regulated environments.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline preferred.
