Job Title : Valve Assembler

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Valve Assembler, where you will play a critical role in assembling valves used in various industries, including space exploration, automotive, and petroleum. Your work will contribute to innovative solutions that control the flow of essential products such as water, gas, sugars, and flours.

Responsibilities

• Assemble valves for industries such as NASA, automotive, and petroleum.
• Ensure the proper functioning of valves for controlling water, gas, sugars, and flour flows.
• Utilize blueprints to guide assembly processes.
• Employ hand tools and power tools efficiently during assembly tasks.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled shop alongside a close-knit team of approximately 9 to 10 colleagues on the floor, contributing to a total team size of 21 people. Enjoy a collaborative and friendly atmosphere, with a standard work schedule from Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4 : 30pm, and the potential for voluntary overtime on Fridays.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Emporia, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00 / hr.
