Position Overview :
The Task Order Project Manager (PM) provides leadership and oversight for large, complex task orders supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) CAGE Registration Service Support program. Reporting to the Program Manager, the PM ensures that all project activities meet technical, schedule, and performance objectives . This position requires a skilled leader who can coordinate with Government stakeholders, Contracting Officers, and internal teams to ensure successful task order execution and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage all aspects of assigned task order(s), ensuring compliance with contract performance requirements, schedules, and deliverables.Coordinate with the Program Manager , Government Contracting Officer (KO) , and Task Order Managers to ensure effective communication and task order execution.Oversee technical teams performing CAGE registration and IT-related support to ensure efficiency and quality outcomes.Develop project plans, schedules, risk management strategies, and performance reports consistent with DLA standards.Identify and mitigate risks that could impact task order delivery or mission performance.Support quality control initiatives and maintain accurate project documentation.Provide mentorship and leadership to assigned staff, fostering collaboration and accountability.Serve as the principal point of contact for task order matters with Government management personnel and customer agency representatives.Required Qualifications :
Project Management certification (e.g., PMP , or equivalent recognized certification).Five (5) years of relevant experienceFive (5) years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the IT and / or consulting fields .Bachelor's degree (BS or BA); four (4) additional years of related experience may be substituted for a degree.Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams supporting federal programs.Proven experience managing task orders with multiple stakeholders and complex deliverables.Active Secret or TS clearance required at the time of offer submission.Desired Skills :
Experience managing DLA, DoD, or federal IT programs , preferably involving registration, data management, or enterprise systems.Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes, project lifecycle management, and risk mitigation.Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and standard project management tools.About S2i2
