About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a locum tenens opportunity in New York. This assignment begins on Nov 28, 2025, and is a 1-day contract covering urgent care cases as the sole provider. Shifts are available from 8am to 8pm or 9am to 4pm, offering a focused and dynamic workday.

Responsibilities and Duties

Serve as the sole provider managing all urgent care cases during the shift

Deliver high-quality, patient-centered urgent care services

Conduct patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and initiate treatment plans

Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records

Communicate effectively with patients and clinic staff

Additional Information

Active New York license required

Board certification is not required for this assignment

Background experience as a certified Physician Assistant in urgent care settings is preferred
