Job Summary :
The MD / DO provides comprehensive medical services within the scope of their training, including diagnosis, treatment, and supervision of patient care. The physician ensures that care adheres to state and federal regulations while being sensitive to the cultural and community needs of the population served. The MD / DO will play a pivotal role in the delivery of patient-centered care within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), ensuring both quality and continuity of care for all patients.
Responsibilities :
Patient Care & Treatment
Provide direct patient care, including physical examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
Supervision & Collaboration
Supervise mid-level providers (Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants) to ensure optimal patient care.
Documentation & Compliance
Ensure proper documentation of patient care, following all billing, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
Patient & Family Education
Educate patients and families about their treatment plans and preventive healthcare.
Professional Development & Quality Improvement
Engage in ongoing professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Community Outreach
Engage in community outreach efforts to promote healthcare education and wellness.
