Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Position Overview

This is a high-value night-shift CRNA locums opportunity at a Level II trauma center in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Providers will work alongside a collaborative anesthesia team and supporting OB, thoracic, vascular, trauma, and healthy pediatric cases.

$250K + over entire assignment

Assignment Highlights

Joint Commission-certified agency

6-month contract 36+ hours per week

3 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM)

Weekend availability required

Floating between main OR, satellite hospital (4 ORs), and ASC (6 ORs)

Emergency privileges available for fast onboarding

Level II trauma center with heavy OB, thoracic, EP, vascular

CRNAs perform their own epidurals and spinals

All cases except transplants; includes healthy peds, dental / ENT, ortho, GI, ENT

Schedule published 8 weeks out

Prepaid travel for full-time commitments + malpractice insurance covered

Job Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia care for a broad range of surgical cases in a Level II trauma environment

Perform and manage epidurals and spinals independently

Support OB, thoracic, vascular, ENT, and pediatric cases

Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative teams

Respond to trauma and emergency situations promptly and effectively

Skills & Experience

Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience

OB and thoracic experience required

Pediatric anesthesia experience preferred

Level II trauma experience required

Proficiency in epidural and spinal anesthesia

Active VA license (or proof of application in process)

Clean background for emergency privileges
