We are currently seeking a Director of Growth and Partnerships .

The Director will lead the refinement of our growth and business development strategy and manage initiatives to execute the strategy for sustainable growth.

Our current portfolio of projects is focused on civilian sector technology research and development (R&D), program management, program evaluation, data analytics, strategic communications, and grants management.

We are looking to add an experienced leader with more than 15 years of relevant experience to join our Washington, DC based team, add to our culture, and fully embrace our commitments to deliver, grow and thrive .   About the Role :

  • You will leverage your experience to help the company grow, design and implement the growth strategy in collaboration with the leadership team, and lead the execution of growth initiatives to support the strategy.
  • You will also lead, manage, and hold your high performing team accountable.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following :

  • Growth Strategy and Implementation  Lead and manage the data-driven growth strategy and strategic planning efforts with the leadership team and growth team  Identify and pursue actionable and relevant growth opportunities, areas / domains / services based on the current state, research, and trends  Collaborate with leadership to integrate new growth strategy elements into existing delivery and ongoing growth initiatives  Lead unified messaging updates for all marketing materials, conference approach, and communications  Develop and report on key performance indicators to determine return on investment (ROI) of growth initiative investments  Support development of Division Account Plans that support the developed growth strategy  Support digital transformation initiatives related to growth strategy and business development  Partnership and Relationship Building   Develop strategic partnership strategy aligned to capture and contracting planning   Connect and build relationships with relevant government leaders and contracting officials in priority Federal agencies and offices   Initiate and connect with key partners across industry in priority domains, services, and agencies to maximize growth  Capture Management  Lead and manage capture strategy, process and team to include tracking of progress and success of capture initiatives  Lead and manage the Capture Team and coordinate with account leads to drive progress and increase P-WIN throughout the capture process for all corporate opportunities across Divisions  Advise and manage the pipeline in collaboration with Capture Team and opportunity owners  Lead and manage the Capture Team related to effective and strategic win theme / strategy sessions to strengthen capture and proposal efforts and increase win rates.  Strategic Contract Vehicle Management  Identify and shepherd strategic contract vehicle opportunities,  Joint Venture development, and Mentor-Protege relationships through the full life-cycle  Oversee and lead the development of proposal packages for strategic contract vehicles that support strategic direction and growth opportunities  Develop metrics to track ROI of strategic contract vehicle performance  Coordinate with the finance department to monitor return on strategy investments  Proposal Management  Lead and manage proposal development process and team  Coordinate with the Proposal Team and Consulting Division to proactively develop strategic positioning to inform highly rated and compliant submissions.  Advise, support, and participate in all elements of proposal development (i.e. solution development, technical writing, color team reviews)  to ensure submission of compelling and compliant proposals with an optimal win probability and high score value  Required Experience / Skills :    Education : Bachelor’s Degree and at least 15 years of related experience in Federal Contracting  Experience growing a civilian sector Federal contracting business or practice  Proven business development strategy, capture, teaming, and proposal management experience  Possess a deep understanding of the Federal Business Development Lifecycle.  Experience growing a new IT Professional Services contracting area within an established GovCon business  Work in a highly collaborative / team environment  Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Acrobat Pro  Familiarity with GovWin  Excellent verbal and written communication skills  Ability to work under stress with tight schedule deadlines  Ability to manage multiple proposals at the same time  Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide a business development team.   US citizenship   Location :   You will work as part of a dynamic team remotely in metro-accessible Washington, DC.   About Us :   Corner Alliance offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package for full-time employees including 401k matching (4%), PTO (3 weeks to start, 4 weeks (2-5 years) and 5 weeks (5 years+)), health, dental, vision, short- and long-term disability, FSA accounts, 4 weeks of paid parental leave, 11 paid holidays (including your birthday off), fitness & cell phone reimbursements, monthly all hands update meetings, annual in-person all hands team building day and evening out, regular check-ins for professional growth goals, semi-monthly one on one performance manager meetings, a social team that coordinates monthly events, use of technology like Slack to keep us connected and collaborative, and overall, a company culture dedicated to a highly engaged team.   Corner Alliance is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex (including pregnancy, gender identity, and sexual orientation), national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, or any other basis covered by applicable law.
