Academic Substitute Instructor

Overview

Wage - $160.00 per day. Schedule – as needed, 8hr shifts, Monday – Friday. MTC operates the Clearfield Job Corps Center in Clearfield, UT. We value professional and caring employees dedicated to improving people's lives.

You will be responsible for academic instruction per approved curricula, providing training and basic guidance to help students achieve their academic goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide students with basic direction, instruction and assistance in designated areas(s) of instruction
• Administer and correct rests and maintain progress and attendance reports
• Assist in developing community linkages and volunteers for the department
• Ensure accountability is taken each period and report student absences promptly
• Participate in student assessment panels, and perform required documentation and evaluation using CIS (Center Information System) and other documentation systems
