Plant and Lab Quality Coordinator Opportunity
Position Summary :
The Plant and Lab Quality Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality across both laboratory and plant operations. This role bridges the quality lab and production plant, overseeing sample collection, testing, documentation, and compliance with internal and external standards. The coordinator plays a key role in supporting operational excellence and product integrity.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collect, label, and track samples from various plant processes and incoming materials.
- Prepare and distribute samples for laboratory analysis, ensuring chain-of-custody integrity.
- Perform or coordinate laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Interpret and document test results, identifying trends or deviations from specifications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all quality activities, including test results, deviations, and corrective actions.
- Prepare and review Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for outgoing products.
- Ensure all quality documentation meets regulatory and customer requirements.
- Develop, review, and update SOPs for sample collection, testing, and quality control processes.
- Train plant and lab personnel on SOPs and quality best practices.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and corrective action processes.
- Serve as a liaison between the plant, lab, and quality management teams.
- Communicate quality issues and resolutions clearly to all stakeholders.
- Promote and adhere to safe practices and sustainable operations in line with environmental and safety standards.
Qualifications

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00 / hr.
