JOB DESCRIPTION\nJob Description\nJob Title : Registered Nurse\nReports to : Office Manager\nFLSA Status : Non-Exempt\nSummary : CNY Fertility is a renowned fertility center offering advanced treatments like IVF, IUI, and egg freezing.\nWith a patient-centered approach and cutting-edge technology, we support individuals and couples on their journey to parenthood.\nOur Registered Nurse Performs patient-specific duties in the area of fertility including patient care, teaching, triage, procedures, and protocol in a clinical and operating room setting under the direction of the physician by performing the following duties.\nRequired Duties and Responsibilities : Include the following.\nOther duties may be assigned.\n1.\n- Performs phlebotomy successfully.\n2.\nCollects and labels specimen as outlined in lab orders / requisitions.\n3.\nTransports specimens to the lab promptly for testing.\n4.\nStarts, maintains, and discontinues IV lines.\n5.\n- Administers medications and follows medication protocols.\n6.\n- Provides patient educations and medication administration teaching.\n7.\nTriages patient problems, questions, and concerns to the appropriate area.\n8.\n- Maintains factual and thorough health care records.\n9.\nCommunicates, reviews, and records all laboratory results.\n10.\nAssists physicians with embryo transfers when necessary.\n11.\n- Performs transvaginal and abdominal follicular and prenatal ultrasounds.\n12.\nMonitors and manages fertility treatment cycles under the direction and supervision of physicians.\n13.\n- Performs intrauterine infusions.\n14.\nSupervises all licensed practical nurses and medical assistants.\n15.\nParticipates in staff development, nursing conferences, infectious disease classes, and continuing education pertaining to area of expertise.\nQualifications : \nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nEducation / Experience : \nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of technical training.\nMust be a graduate of an approved registered nursing program.\nLanguage Ability : \nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.\nAbility to write routine reports and correspondence.\nAbility to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.\nMath Ability : \nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.\nAbility to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.\nReasoning Ability : \nAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.\nAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.\nKnowledge, Skills and Other Abilities : \n

  • Medical Terminology\n
