Carpentry And Installation Worker
Performs carpentry and installation work in County buildings and properties. Makes and installs fixtures and remodels office spaces, public spaces, and work locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Uses and maintains specialized carpentry equipment in the completion of projects for the City.
- Builds small frame buildings and partitions; builds desks, tables, cabinets; finishes furniture.
- Estimates material needed for each job.
- Assists plumbers in the excavation and installation of PVC pipes.
- Produces specialized pieces for furniture and other equipment.
- Assists in maintaining good communication between staff, visitors, and other business contacts.
- Assists electricians in the installation of lamps, fixtures, and the changing of bulbs.
- Will be required to drive a City vehicle for City business use.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

At least one (1) year of general experience. Experience in carpentry work (in construction projects or related field) is preferred.Valid Licenses and Certifications :
