Position Overview

We are currently hiring a skilled Instrument Fitter for a reputable manufacturing company in Broken Arrow. This is a temp-to-hire position offering long hours hands-on responsibilities and excellent long-term potential. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in installing and calibrating instrumentation and strong knowledge of small bore tubing valves hydraulic systems and pressure regulators. This Instrument Fitter role is critical to ensuring equipment accuracy and system integrity in a high-performance environment.

Required Experience & Skills

Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting

Proficient in small bore tubing fabrication (to 1) using hand and crank-type bending equipment

Skilled in using various measuring tools : tape measures speed squares angle finders

Experience with valves pressure regulators and valve actuators

Working knowledge of hydraulic systems including flexible hydraulic assemblies

Familiarity with pump installation alignment high-pressure systems and cryogenics

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As an Instrument Fitter your responsibilities will include :

Mounting and installing instruments (e.g. pressure gauges flow meters temperature sensors and control valves) according to engineering specifications and safety standards

Calibrating instruments to ensure precise readings and optimal system performance

Performing inspections troubleshooting and replacing or repairing faulty instrumentation

Maintaining detailed records of all installations maintenance activities and modifications

Strictly following all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted

Physical tasks include : lifting standing climbing bending grasping sitting pulling pushing stooping stretching and carrying

Ability to work at elevated heights (up to 50 feet) including safe ladder use

Preferred Education

High school diploma or equivalent
