Empowered Staffing is partnered with a modern full-service marketing and PR agency headquartered in Chicago that takes a storytelling-first approach to help brands grow. The firm offers public relations, content marketing, social media, branding, advertising, and franchise development consulting (Top 10 PR Vendor for Franchises according to Entrepreneur Magazine).
As the company continues to grow, they are seeking a Chicago-based strategic and hands-on VP of Client Services to manage a portfolio of client accounts, strengthen relationships, and ensure high-quality service delivery. You will lead client strategy while also stepping in to support execution when needed across PR, content, social, and digital marketing initiatives. This role partners closely with internal teams (Creative, PR, Digital, Operations) to ensure client needs are met, campaigns run smoothly, and growth opportunities are identified.
Responsibilities :
- Serve as the day-to-day strategic partner for a portfolio of clients.
- Maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction and alignment on goals.
- Jump in as needed to support campaign execution—such as reviewing media pitches, drafting content, managing social calendars, QA’ing ads, or refining strategy.
- Monitor account health, identify risks, and create action plans to improve performance.
- Collaborate with PR, content, and digital teams to ensure campaigns are meeting timelines and KPIs.
- Assist with hands-on tasks (e.g., proofing press releases, coordinating media opportunities, reviewing reporting dashboards, preparing client decks).
- Help troubleshoot campaign issues, ensuring smooth delivery and strong outcomes.
- Work closely with Account Managers and Specialists to guide strategy and ensure quality of work.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and structure to help teams execute efficiently.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and proactive problem-solving.
- Ensure account workflows, tools, and processes are followed consistently across your portfolio.
- Identify opportunities for expanding client scope, improving performance, or introducing new services.
- Help support retention initiatives by providing excellent service and measurable value.
Requirements :
6–10 years of experience in marketing, public relations, digital strategy, or client services in an agency environment.Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.Comfortable being hands-on with execution when needed.Strong communicator with excellent presentation and relationship-building skills.Ability to prioritize, stay organized, and lead projects through completion.Experience with campaign reporting, budget oversight, and client growth strategies.Bachelor’s degree required; relevant advanced degree is a plus, but not required.Compensation Benefits :
