We are seeking passionate and dedicated bilingual (Spanish & English) teachers to create a pool of qualified candidates for current and / or future openings as they become available. We are a K-5 elementary dual language charter school . As a teacher at our school, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for students, while holding high expectations for ALL students to achieve and show growth. You will develop and implement lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide guidance and support to help students reach their full potential. You will also actively participate in professional development prior to school starting and then throughout the school year. We are a high achieving school and we have very high standards for our students and our staff.
```Duties```
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Use effective behavior management techniques to promote a productive learning atmosphere
- Effectively implement Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents / guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience
- Utilize various teaching methods and resources to engage students in the learning process
- Adapt the curriculum to meet the needs of individual students or special education requirements
- Foster a love of learning through creative and interactive activities
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress
```Requirements```
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (required)Teaching certification or license (required)Experience working with children in an educational setting (preferred)Strong knowledge of NGSS Standards and NV Academic Content StandardsAbility to effectively manage a classroom and maintain disciplineKnowledge of special education practices and strategiesExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenPatience, empathy, and understanding when working with diverse student populationsProficient in English and SpanishIf you are passionate about education and making a positive impact on young minds, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.
