DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Our enthusiastic and dedicated nursing staff provides 24-hour care, seven days per week. Under the direct supervision of a licensed professional supervisor, Nurse Aides assist residents in accordance with their individualized care plans. Duties include monitoring and recording vital signs, height, and weight, as well as collecting specimens such as urine, feces, and sputum. You will demonstrate compassion and respect as you assist with basic personal hygiene tasks, including hair, oral, and nail care, as well as bathing and dressing. Other daily tasks include making beds, distributing linens, serving food trays, assisting with feeding, and recording care and services performed. Additionally, you maintain a safe environment for residents and strictly follow infection control procedures and universal health care precautions.
