American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of experience, including 1 year in acute care, for an acute care hospital setting in Florida.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Acute care hospital setting with primary service lines in orthopedics, neurology, trauma, open heart, and medical-surgicalPatients are seen at bedside with a focus on functional mobility and discharge planningWork schedule is Monday through Friday with rotating weekends (approximately 2 weekend days per month)Shifts are typically 8 : 30 am to 5 : 00 pm or 9 : 00 am to 5 : 30 pm on weekdays, and 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm on weekendsNo on-call requirementsMay float to a nearby hospital (Palm Bay) as needed, usually with advance noticeUse of EPIC EMR is requiredResponsibilities include delivering bedside physical therapy, focusing on mobility and discharge planningMust work at least one major holiday if contracted during November to JanuaryTravel pairs may be considered but same schedules are not guaranteedFree parking is available with a decal provided at orientationScrubs of any color are permitted as long as tops and bottoms match in color, with no logos or printsModules must be completed during orientation and annually via the facility LMS systemMust be available to visit for lab work within 72 hours of signingNot open to candidates with educational backgrounds from excluded institutions as outlined by the employerLocal candidates are accepted at the same travel rateFormer employees or contracted travelers must wait one year after their prior role to be consideredRequested time off must be finalized and submitted before offer; additional RTO will not be accepted after offer\n \n Requirements\n
