Duke University Health System- Duke Regional Hospital seeks to hire a Nursing care Assistant who will embrace our mission of Advancing Health Together.

Department Profile :

We are seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide support across various units across the hospital. This role is essential for maintaining consistent patient care by assisting units with staffing requirements. The Nursing Assistant will perform a range of nonprofessional nursing duties in direct patient care under the supervision of an RN / LPN. This position is managed by the Operations Administrator, who assigns the Nursing Assistant to different hospital units requiring additional support. The candidate should demonstrate flexibility and adaptability when transitioning between units and adjusting to varying patient needs.

Work Schedule : Three 12-hour shifts

Nights 7p-7a

Job Summary :

Perform a variety of nonprofessional nursing duties in the direct care of patients under the direct supervision of an RN / LPN. Perform a variety of clerical duties involved in preparing, maintaining, and processing patient, unit (s), and hospital data and records including operating the organization's patient care information systems.
