Adelphi is seeking Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) to provide services at a correctional facility in Victorville, California. Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient response. Conduct patient evaluations, including taking medical histories and performing physical assessments. Assist in diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services. Administer emergency care, including CPR and first aid. Operate EKG machines and perform venipunctures for laboratory tests. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other health care providers to coordinate patient care. Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide direct patient care services in accordance with legal, ethical, and institutional standards.
