2nd Shift Production Manager

Location : Elkhart, IN

Shift : 2nd Shift (Monday–Friday, 2 : 00 p.m.–10 : 00 p.m.)

Pay : $17–$22 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Job Summary

Are you a dependable and experienced leader looking to take the next step in your manufacturing career? We’re seeking a 2nd Shift Production Manager to oversee production operations and lead a team of 6–8 employees during our evening shift. In this working leadership role, you’ll ensure that production goals are met, quality and safety standards are maintained, and the facility is secured at the end of the day.

What You'll Be Doing

As a 2nd Shift Production Manager, your core responsibilities will include :

Supervision : Lead and support evening shift production employees to meet production schedules.

Quality & Safety : Maintain high standards for quality assurance and workplace safety.

Reporting : Complete daily production reports and time sheets accurately.

Security : Secure the building at the end of each shift.

Training : Provide hands-on training and guidance to new employees.

Production Support : Perform production-related tasks and assist with equipment or mechanical needs as required.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications :

3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (required)

Some supervisory experience (preferred)

Basic mechanical ability (required)

Experience with insert or injection molding operations (preferred)

Must be able to speak, read, and write in English

Must have reliable transportation

Skills & Abilities :

Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach overhead, and climb steps

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Strong attendance and punctuality — reliability is essential

Honesty and trustworthiness — responsible for securing the building
