About The Role

We are excited about bringing in an experienced and motivated Revenue Manager to join our fast-paced global Accounting and Finance team! This position is responsible for overseeing billing, collections and grant reporting processes. This role is responsible for leading Zipline through its domestic growth, international expansion and product launches. This position will initially be an individual contributor, with the expectation that this person will build and lead the billing, collections and revenue functions as Zipline grows.

What You\'ll Do

Customer Billing, Policies and Controls

• Own and drive the implementation and improvement of global billing and revenue systems.
• Build out the global billing function of Zipline with expected substantial ramp of billing operations in 2026 and going forward. Experience with grant billing and tracking are a plus.
• Partner with customers and business leaders to design and implement scalable and efficient billing processes.
• Oversee financial transactions and controls related to transaction processing while ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Manage finance help desk and own financial policy documents with respect to customer billing.
• Design internal processes and partner with Zipline's applications team to implement system enhancements while ensuring scalability and customer reimbursement and reporting requirements are optimized.
• Own recording of revenue and deferred revenue transactions, working closely with strategic finance and the accounting teams on forecasting revenue.
• Prepare GL account reconciliations for AR and Deferred Revenue accounts.
• Partner with the Technical accounting team on revenue optimization and recognition for new customer contracts.
• Review AR aging and follow up on past due invoices.

This role is based out of our South San Francisco HQ. Must be eligible to work in the US and travel globally as needed.

The starting cash range for this role is $140,000 - $170,000. Please note that this is a target, starting cash range for a candidate who meets the minimum qualifications for this role. The final cash pay for this role will depend on a variety of factors, including a specific candidate\'s experience, qualifications, skills, working location, and projected impact. The total compensation package for this role may also include : equity compensation; overtime pay; discretionary annual or performance bonuses; sales incentives; benefits such as medical, dental and vision insurance; paid time off; and more.
