Purpose of the Position
- Lead business development initiatives across the Eastern and Southeastern U.S., focused on expanding market share in environmental services-particularly Compliance, Permitting, Dewatering, and Soil & Groundwater Remediation.
- Build, strengthen, and manage client relationships with engineering firms, general contractors, industrial operators, and public agencies to drive sustainable revenue growth.
- Collaborate with operational and technical teams to position the company as a trusted, full-service environmental partner delivering safe, compliant, and cost-effective solutions.
- Develop regional go-to-market strategies aligned with corporate growth goals, emphasizing long-term customer relationships and recurring project opportunities.
Essential Position Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities across target sectors such as infrastructure, energy, industrial, and commercial development.Manage the full sales lifecycle-from prospecting and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, and contract close.Maintain a deep understanding of environmental compliance and permitting regulations across the region to support client decision-making and ensure project success.Partner with estimating, operations, and technical experts to prepare competitive, technically sound proposals and scopes of work.Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities within CRM systems, tracking key metrics and forecast accuracy.Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key customers, consultants, and regulatory agencies to expand the company's presence and reputation in the marketplace.Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and professional associations to build visibility and credibility.Collaborate with marketing to develop regional campaigns, case studies, and customer outreach materials that support business growth.Monitor competitors, market trends, and emerging environmental regulations to identify risks and growth opportunities.Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership on sales performance, pipeline health, and strategic account activity.Safety Sensitive : No
