Job Description Summary

• This is a skilled position requiring the maintenance and up keep of the aggregate quarries, as well as various manual tasks including but not limited to the following : greasing the crushers / all equipment and keeping them in efficient working order; laboring / minor servicing of all equipment as needed, performing ground maintenance; running the loader if trained and needed.

Requirements

Working Conditions :

Most time is spent outdoors although in the enclosed cab of mobile equipment. Occasional outside assignments may require periods of work in all weather conditions, heat, cold, wet or dry. May have exposure to dust, sand, gravel, diesel, exhaust, lubricants, solvents, etc.

Work areas may often contain poor and unlevel ground conditions. Work area may have noise levels up to 90 dbs. Work areas require personal protective equipment such as, hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, high visibility vest or shirt, and hearing protection.
