Database Administrator / SQL

Join AZAD as a Database Administrator to support and assist the Systems Administration organization within parent org Platform Services. This position primarily focuses on SQL RDBMS support.

This is a 2 year plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is fully remote.

The hourly pay rate range for this position (which includes a health and welfare fringe benefit of $4.57) is $59.00 - $79.00 depending on related qualifications and experience, composition of selected compensation package, as well as dependent on resident location.

The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications :

A bachelor's degree in information technology (or closely related technical discipline) is preferred.

10 years of experience is required with an applicable bachelor's degree.

15 years of experience is required without a degree or applicable degree.

Experience should include directly related IT infrastructure administration.

10 years of knowledge and experience sufficient to administer MS SQL DB versions 2012 through 2022.

10 years of knowledge and experience sufficient to administer MS SQL Clustering / AlwaysOn.

5 years of knowledge and experience sufficient to successfully troubleshoot Windows operating systems using text-based logs, windows event logs, and various utilities as it pertains to support of SQL Database services.

5 years knowledge of and experience building tools for other administrators to use and automating operations with scripting tools such as shell scripting and PowerShell.

5 years of knowledge of and experience with TCP / IP and related services.

Valid U.S. Driver's License is required.

Must be able to pass a federal criminal background and drug screening.
