Responsibilities

  • Greet / welcome customers in a friendly manner
  • Direct all cars into the parking lot in the correct order
  • Make sure you are properly dressed for the weather conditions
  • Check cars for passes and direct them to the correct locations
  • Be alert during shift, report suspicious behavior to the Parking Supervisor and / or Security
  • Collect fees from patrons looking to park in the Event Center parking lot
  • Position or remove barricades / cones to prevent parking in certain spots
  • Collect signage and cones and the end of the shift and place them in the appropriate place

Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to work alone, or in a team environment
  • Available to work evenings, nights, weekends and holidays (Occasional morning shifts per event type)
  • Able to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours or more
  • Able to stoop and bend
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds from time to time
  • Able to safely work with potentially dangerous chemicals and equipment
  • Able to comply with safety and health code standards
  • Able to handle responsibilities that require repetitive motion tasks
