About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum of 1 year in PACU

License : GA or Compact nursing license required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS

Must-Have :

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in PACU
• Patient safety and comfort focus

Description : UNIT DETAILS :

This unit specializes in heavy orthopedic, gynecological, genitourinary, and general surgeries.

WEEKEND :

Weekend shifts are included in on-call requirements.

CALL :

4 first on-call shifts and 3 second on-call shifts are required, including at least one Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shift on call.

FLOATING :

Floating may be required within the facility, within the scope of practice, as needed.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE :

Candidates with at least 1 year of experience are accepted. New travelers are welcome.

HOLIDAY POLICY :

If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it.

If two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both holidays.

If three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

Major holidays include :

COMPLIANCE :

Full compliance is required to start on time.

If not compliant by the deadline, the start date may be postponed by 2 weeks due to orientation scheduling.

References :

Two supervisory references are highly preferred at the time of submission.

RTO :

A maximum of 7 days of requested time off is allowed.
