Job description

Legacy Home, a premier domestic manufacturer of luxury bedding, draperies, pillows, sheets, and other home furnishing textile products is looking for experienced individuals to join its product development team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Assist Design Director with development of product line.
  • Place fabric and raw material orders with vendors.
  • Create fabric and product spec sheets.
  • Monitor sample production.
  • Participate in evaluation of product line concepts with other team members.
  • Communicate with current vendors and research new sources.
  • Maintain fabric sample room.

Qualifications :

  • Experience in the home furnishings industry preferred, but will train the right candidate.
  • Detail oriented and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously with multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Understanding of sewing techniques.
