Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate, creative, and experienced

Social Media Assistant to join our team full-time. This is an in-office position (Monday-Friday) and requires full dedication to Rancher Hat Bar. We are not looking for part-time candidates or agencies —this role must be your primary and sole professional focus.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and strategies, and will be responsible for planning, creating, and executing content that aligns with our brand voice and goals. You’ll play a vital role in shaping our online presence and growing our engaged community.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a strategic content calendar across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.)

Create compelling content (photos, videos, stories, Reels) in line with our brand aesthetics

Monitor analytics and performance metrics to optimize engagement and growth

Engage with followers and respond to comments, messages, and brand mentions

Stay current with industry trends, platform updates, and social media best practices

Collaborate with the in-house team to promote events, launches, and brand initiatives

Manage social media advertising campaigns as needed

Requirements

Proven experience managing social media for a brand or business

Strong creative eye and ability to capture and create visually appealing content

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Proficiency in social media tools and analytics platforms

Ability to work full-time, on-site, Monday through Friday

No other current employment or agency contracts – Rancher Hat Bar must be your sole focus

Bonus Skills (not required but nice to have)

Photography and basic video editing

Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools

Background in fashion, lifestyle, or retail branding
