The Strategy Development Program (SDP) consists of three, twelve-month assignments over the course of three years. The assignments are crafted to help you develop foundational knowledge by working on a range of projects, while providing exposure to different leaders in the company. These experiences will develop you and support your future opportunities in a strategic function at AbbVie. You will also get experience by working cross functionally in a matrix environment and building your strategic and analytical skill set. The rotations will be carried out primarily across the following areas in the Corporate Business & Strategy Office (CBSO) : Enterprise Innovation and Transformation, Corporate Strategy, Competitive and Strategic Insights and Alliance Management.

Example projects may include :

• Analyzing acceleration levers to maximize an asset or brand
• Supporting roll out of new capabilities to enhance R&D performance
• Supporting AbbVie's long-range planning process
• Conducting competitive analysis to support pipeline decision making for key oncology assets
• Supporting strategic partnership interactions
