• Location : Titusville, FL 32796 (Space Coast)\n
• Healthcare Setting : Acute Care Hospital – Mixed Med / Surg, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit (PCU)\n
• Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 1 / 2025 – End : 3 / 2 / 2026)\n
• Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM), 3 shifts / week (36 hours / week)\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary : $1260 - $1350 per week\n
• Patient Ratio : 1 : 6 (PCU-level patients)\n
• Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend\n
• Floating : Required within nursing scope\n
• Orientation : 5 shifts (36–40 hours) in first week\n
• Charting System : Meditech\n
• Scrub Color : Any\n
• Parking : Free in any unrestricted space\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg Tele or PCU nursing experience\n
• Active Florida or Compact RN license\n
• Certifications : ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS (or willing to obtain)\n
• Experience with 1 : 6 patient ratios and PCU-level care\n
• Telemetry and cardiac drip experience required; orthopedic / total joint replacement nursing preferred\n
• Adult and geriatric patient care experience\n
• Must reside more than 30 miles from facility (no local travelers)\n
• Ability to float within scope\n
• COVID-19 vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions considered)\n
• Completion of required modules (approx. 4 hours) prior to start\n\nRN Responsibilities – Clinical Support\n
• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in Med / Surg, Telemetry, and PCU units\n
• Manage 1 : 6 patient ratio, including PCU-level patients\n
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias\n
• Administer medications, including cardiac drips (no titration)\n
• Perform central / peripheral line care, wound care, and tracheostomy management\n
• Provide care for orthopedic and total joint replacement patients\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (PT, RT, pharmacy, social services)\n
• Float to other units within nursing scope as needed\n
• Document patient care using Meditech\n
