General Summary :
The Missouri Department of Mental Health, Division of Developmental Disabilities, is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide telehealth-based clinical casework services for individuals with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and / or physical disabilities . The role involves conducting comprehensive case assessments , providing individual and group therapy , and participating in interdisciplinary treatment planning to support the overall well-being and integration of clients into their communities.

Key Responsibilities :
- Provide clinical casework services to individuals with mental illness and / or developmental or physical disabilities via telehealth.
- Conduct comprehensive case assessments , compiling social, environmental, and economic histories for use by medical and professional treatment staff.
- Participate in admission, social diagnosis, prognosis, progress review, research, and aftercare planning as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Implement individual and group therapy programs , focusing on evidence-based intervention techniques such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) .
- Develop treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and community service providers.
- Utilize electronic health records (EHRs) for secure documentation and patient management.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA by using secure telehealth communication platforms with audio / video capabilities.
- Provide consultation and client-centered advocacy to help individuals access the necessary resources and community services.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Strong knowledge of ethical considerations in clinical social work .Expertise in casework, psychotherapy, group work, client-centered advocacy, and research .Ability to assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions for individuals with mental health and developmental disabilities .Proficiency in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for both individual and group therapy .Familiarity with Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) methodologies.Experience working with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) is preferred.Knowledge of and experience using Electronic Health Records (EHRs) .Ability to work remotely while maintaining HIPAA compliance in all communications and documentation.Experience & Qualifications :
Active and unrestricted LCSW license in the state of Missouri.Prior experience in individual and group DBT therapy .Experience in providing therapy to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) is preferred.Previous work within an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program is beneficial.Experience using HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms for virtual visits and secure documentation.Work Location & Anticipated Facilities Needing Services :
