General Summary :

The Missouri Department of Mental Health, Division of Developmental Disabilities, is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide telehealth-based clinical casework services for individuals with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and / or physical disabilities . The role involves conducting comprehensive case assessments , providing individual and group therapy , and participating in interdisciplinary treatment planning to support the overall well-being and integration of clients into their communities.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide clinical casework services to individuals with mental illness and / or developmental or physical disabilities via telehealth.
• Conduct comprehensive case assessments , compiling social, environmental, and economic histories for use by medical and professional treatment staff.
• Participate in admission, social diagnosis, prognosis, progress review, research, and aftercare planning as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Implement individual and group therapy programs , focusing on evidence-based intervention techniques such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) .
• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and community service providers.
• Utilize electronic health records (EHRs) for secure documentation and patient management.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA by using secure telehealth communication platforms with audio / video capabilities.
• Provide consultation and client-centered advocacy to help individuals access the necessary resources and community services.
