Senior Project Manager / Scrum Master

Our client, an established insurance company, is seeking a talented Senior Project Manager / Scrum Master to join their team, hit the ground running, and help drive to success. This is a contact to hire position, with defined plans for conversion to permanent. The employee will work in the office 2-3 days per week with a very flexible schedule.

They are kicking off several innovation projects, software and data focused. They are embracing the cloud (Azure) and automation.

What will you do?

Serve as a Project Manager / Scrum Master in a Scaled Agile environment.

Follow best practices for ensuring teams are meeting project deadlines and project requirements

Required Skills / Certifications

At least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, CSM certification required

MUST have prior experience in the insurance industry.

Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices.

Proven experience holding project teams (of developers, analysts, test, etc) accountable.

Successful track record of managing large-scale, enterprise software and / or data projects

Strong presentation skills with prior experience presenting to executives and senior level stakeholders
