Community Based Outreach Team Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

Job Summary

The Community Bridges Inc. (CBI) Community Based Outreach Team Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is responsible for responding to calls dispatched by the CBI Access to Care Line and for transports from CBI facilities. The Community Based Outreach Team EMT is responsible for the in-field assessment of each referral to determine the appropriateness of care in consult with the CBI Triage RN when there is a question of need due to the severity of the level of risk in ASAM Dimensions 1, 2 and 3. The Community Based Outreach Team EMT is responsible to ensure that all documentation of Crisis Intervention Notes, Trip Tickets, and Mobile Crisis Intervention Field Forms on each patient prior to the end of his or her scheduled shift.

Skills / Requirements :

• Arizona EMT Certification
• Good working knowledge of medical skills
• Experience in recovery from substance use and / or mental health is a plus
• Behavioral health / substance abuse experience is a plus
• Driver's License and clear 39-month MRV report
• Candidates must be a minimum of 21 years of age to meet the minimum age requirement to work at a CBI facility.
