Starting Pay Rate : $16.25 3rd Shift Differential : $2.50

Exempt / Non-Exempt : Non-Exempt Employment Type : Full Time

Description : At Bama, the General Production position is expected to understand, engage, and participate in the production activities in their area or position. Directly responsible for making a high quality, safe product; while minimizing scrap, meeting customer expectations, and ensuring a safe work environment and practices.

Daily Responsibilities :

• Set up, monitor and adjust to compliance the automated machinery.
• Measure, weigh, and record raw product data and transfer data to the SPC sheet to ensure product is consistent by all specs.
• Perform routine equipment repairs and assist maintenance with in-depth repairs / modifications.
• Ensure all paperwork is filled out and processed correctly for area of responsibility.
• Participate in teams
• Make ongoing process improvements
• Understand manufacturing process and possess the ability to drive continuous improvement.
• Fully engage in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) program; maintain and understand all equipment in area of responsibility.
