What we are looking for : We are searching for compassionate and caring individuals to work with the people that we support as a Direct Support Professional (DSP).

What You’ll Do : Work directly with people with developmental disabilities assisting them with day to day living activities in Residential Settings. You will support individuals with activities in a home environment and in community settings including meal planning, grocery shopping, or household chores. This position may require you to transport individuals in company vehicles.

Available Shifts : Thurs-Sun 11p-7a, Sat & Sun 3p-11p, Sun, Mon, Thurs, Fri, & Sat 7a-3p. All shifts are available in Council Bluffs, IA.

Skills Needed for the Job : Ability to work independently in a fast paced, team-oriented environment. Flexible and willing to adapt to change. Know the value of communication. Desire to support people and encourage them to reach goals.

Personality Traits : Empathy. Patience. Understanding. Compassion. Adaptable. Respectful. Dependable. Sound Judgement.

Requirements : Must be 18 years old. Must have a valid driver’s license, car and auto insurance. Must be able to pass all background checks.

Experience : NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!!! WE ARE WILLING TO TRAIN!!

Pay : $18-20 an hour. The pay is based on experience, and we also offer an incentive if you have a CNA license.
