Job description

Job Description

We invite an experienced Dentist specializing in General Dentistry for a 12-week locum tenens assignment in Illinois, beginning Jan 5, 2026. This role involves a Monday-Thursday schedule, with working hours from 8 am to 5 pm, except for Tuesdays ending at 3 pm. The selected candidate will deliver comprehensive dental care and utilize Dentrix EMR system to maintain patient records.

  • Schedule : Monday and Wednesday 8am-5pm, Tuesday 8am-3pm, Thursday 8am-5pm

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct thorough dental examinations and diagnoses
  • Provide treatment plans and conduct follow-ups
  • Perform routine and complex dental procedures
  • Manage dental emergencies effectively
  • Utilize Dentrix for efficient patient record management
  • Educate patients on dental health and preventive measures
  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations

    • Additional Information

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Active DEA certification
  • Must hold a valid dentist license in Illinois
