• Medical ICU experience in a large facility
• Comfortable with hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
• Critical thinking skills
• Flexibility and ability to work well with others
• Advanced skills in ventilator management, critical care pharmacology, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Central line management experience

Description :

The registered nurse will provide care in a progressive care unit.

This unit features a 10-bed capacity with a patient ratio of 2 : 1 for ICU and 4-5 : 1 for PCU.

Staffing includes a charge nurse and five staff RNs on both day and night shifts.

The role involves operating various medical equipment such as ventilators and IV pumps.

Documentation will be completed using a specific electronic health record system.

The position requires 12-hour shifts with weekend and holiday coverage.

Floating to other units may be required based on staffing needs.

Mandatory bedside shift report is expected in all areas of the facility.

The registered nurse will assist providers with bedside procedures as needed, including chest tube insertion and intubation.
