Summary : The Archer School for Girls is currently seeking an Operations Associate to start immediately. The Operations Associate supports all aspects of operations within the School. The Operations Associate works closely with the Associate Head of School for Finance and Operations (AHSFO), the Director of Facilities and Operations and the Senior Administrative team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Health and Safety
- Maintains Safety and Emergency Plan
- Member of Safety Committee
- Coordinates CPR and safety training
- Schedules all emergency drills
- Schedules all Safety Committee meetings
- Maintains all safety files
Neighbor / Community Relations / CUP Compliance
Acts as Neighborhood liaison and fields neighbor inquiriesMaintains neighbor complaint logSchedules and attends annual and biannual neighbor meetings as required by the Conditional Use Permit (CUP)Supports the AHSFO with CUP ComplianceMaintains CUP calendarContract and Insurance Administration
Tracks incoming and outgoing contractsAssures that contracts are fully executed and filed electronicallyOrders insurance certificates associated with contractsMonitors ongoing insurance certificates with vendorsTracks and maintains insurances certificates required by contractsAssures that insurance certificates include the contractually required language and insurance amountsCoordinates with Business Office to ensure all contracted services have a valid contractEvent Scheduling
Works with Academic team and Head’s Assistant on the annual calendarHandles room reservationsWorks with facilities team to ensure all school events are properly executedMiscellaneous duties related to event managementAuxiliary Services
Manages overall relationship with food service vendorWorks with kitchen staff on daily lunch program, catering and logistical mattersWorks closely with the Director of Transportation to support the bus programAssists with the annual transportation registration for buses and updates bus routes as changes occurRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Strong project management skillsThe highest level of integritySuperior oral and written communication skillsFlexible problem solver with ability to work with a variety of people and personality typesEducation and / or Experience

Salary range : $31.25 to $45.65 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience)
