The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS), Division of Benefit Programs is currently seeking a Program Budget and Finance Manager. This position will report to the Director of Benefit Programs as the Human Services Portfolio Budget and Finance Manager. This position oversees and aligns all Portfolio budgets with organizational efficiency and goals. This position works with lead budget positions in Human Services divisions to forecast portfolio revenues and expenses. This position acts as a liaison between Human Services divisions, Portfolio, and agency leadership. This position is responsible for developing or updating Portfolio-wide budget policies, procedures, and guidelines to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and accountability. This position oversees and coordinates all Division of Benefit Programs fiscal activities and is responsible for planning, developing, administering and monitoring budget and financial management activities, including contracts and invoices. The position supervises a team of fiscal analysts, to manage, forecast and track contracts and expenditures of the Portfolio.
