The Forehand Agency is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to support account growth by assessing customer needs, recommending appropriate solutions, and delivering high-quality service through inbound and outbound contact. This remote-friendly role offers flexible scheduling, performance-based compensation, and structured professional development within a small, collaborative team. Ideal candidates demonstrate consultative selling skills, strong call handling, and proficiency with CRM and contact center technology.

  • Key responsibilities

Handle high-volume inbound and outbound interactions using consultative selling and a consistent customer experience methodology.

  • Listen to customers, diagnose needs, perform needs assessments, and recommend tailored life and health insurance solutions aligned with customer goals.
  • Identify and pursue upsell, cross-sell, and retention opportunities to support sales growth and account expansion.
  • Aim for first-call resolution by troubleshooting issues, coordinating follow-up, and escalating when appropriate.
  • Accurately document interactions, opportunities, and outcomes in CRM and contact center systems; maintain up-to-date account records and workflows.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to refine outreach strategies, messaging, and process improvements.
  • Participate in structured onboarding, ongoing training, and coaching to develop sales and leadership capabilities.
  • Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college students, interns, recent graduates, and career changers are encouraged to apply.

  • Minimum age 18 and willingness to obtain and maintain a state life and health insurance license.
  • Dependable, coachable, and motivated by incentive-based compensation and performance metrics.
  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills and a customer-service orientation.
  • Comfortable with basic PC tasks and able to quickly learn contact center and CRM software.
  • Able to multitask and maintain productivity in a fast-paced, high-volume interaction environment.
  • Previous experience in telesales, inside sales, customer service, or insurance is beneficial but not required; transferable skills and strong sales aptitude are considered.
