Job Description :

Full Time, Night Shift Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members.

Full Time, Nights Position

Unit Information :

• T8 is an acute care unit that takes both step down (intermediate care) and medical surgical patient populations.
• T8 specializes in all types of Trauma patients that require extensive medical / surgical care. We care for both medical and surgical Gastrointestinal (GI) patients include repair of bowel perforations, bariatrics, obstructions, bleeds, and resections due to various GI cancers.
• Our Gynecological (GYN) medical and surgical patients include hysterectomies, complications after birth, bleeds, hyper / hypotension, and pre-eclampsia.
• Our varied patient population allows nurses to gain a wide range of nursing experience that can be used throughout their career.

Essential Functions

Integrates legal and ethical standards into practice, complies with regulatory standards, practices within scope of licensure, provides accurate & timely documentation, and understands legal implications of care delivery.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$34.53 - $52.25
