Job Description

Locums – Lexington, Kentucky, CRNA Job (Willing to License)

Start Date : 02 / 02 / 2026

Contract Length : 26 Weeks

Schedule Details :

Full-Time; 4x10s or 3x12s – Monday through Friday

7 : 00 a.m. – 5 : 30 p.m. or 7a-7 : 30p (½-hour lunch)

Must be available 4 weeks per month

Practice Setting :

Hospital (Level I Trauma Center)

CRNAs are medically directed (typical ratio 2 : 1 or 3 : 1)

Attending anesthesiologist usually paired with a resident in another room

NORA coverage required

Case Types :

Orthopedic, Trauma, Vascular, and Neuro

No Heart and No OB

Patient population : All ages (excluding Neonatal)

Department & Support Staff :

Team includes CRNAs, Anesthesia Techs, and Anesthesiologists

General supervision ratio : 1-2 anesthesiologists per 1 CRNA and 1 resident, can be up to 1 : 4 anesthesiologists  to CRNA for low acuity. CRNAs are medically directed, typically 2-1, or 3-1

Responsibilities & Skills :

Intubation

Central and Arterial Line Placement

General Anesthesia

(Blocks not required)

Volume :

1–9 patients per day (varies)

Requirements :

Board Certification : NBCRNA – Required

Active KY License or Willing to License – Required

Minimum 1 Year of Experience – Required (No New Grads)

EMR : Epic Preferred

Credentialing Timeframe : ~90 Days
