Job Summary

The STS GES Senior Manager is responsible for executing tasks relating to, but not limited to, the following : Taxation of equity compensation, deferred compensation / 409A, IRC section 162(m), 280G / Golden Parachute analyses, ASC 718 (f.k.a. FAS123R), ASC 740 (f.k.a. FAS109), payroll taxes, employee stock option plans, qualified plans and assistance with compensation related matters for individual and corporate income tax returns.

Job Duties :

• Utilizes prior experience executing client deliverables related to the job summary subject matter in the form of calculations and memos to clients
• Applies industry standards, along with firm policies and BDO Tax Quality Manual requirements, as they relate to the taxation of equity compensation, deferred compensation / 409A, IRC section 162(m), 280G / Golden Parachute analyses, ASC 718 (f.k.a. FAS123R), ASC 740 (f.k.a. FAS109), payroll taxes, employee stock option plans, qualified plans and assistance with compensation related matters for individual and corporate income tax returns
• Researches and prepares compensation planning and / or benchmarking for executive compensation models
• Identifies situations when additional research is necessary and utilizes the appropriate source
• Communicates with clients, both verbally and formal business writing / tax opinions
• Exhibits client / executive presence and possesses strong communication skills

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.

National Range : $99,750 - $262,500

NYC / Long Island / Westchester Range : $99,750 - $262,500

Washington DC Range : $99,750 - $262,500
