Job descriptionServe as interim locum adult medicine clinical director Oversee and support APPs within the clinic Split time evenly between clinical care and administrative duties Participate in orientation and EMR training prior to assuming full responsibilities Provide direct patient care once acclimated to administrative and scheduling duties Must hold a current Connecticut medical license Required board certifications : Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certification required Minimum of 2 years clinical experience required Assignment start is dependent on credentialing (estimated 3-4 weeks) Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Physician for a locum tenens clinical director assignment in Connecticut. This 60-day opportunity begins on Oct 27, 2025, with a Monday through Friday, 8 : 30 am to 5 : 30 pm schedule. The position offers a blend of clinical and administrative responsibilities, including oversight of advanced practice providers (APPs). Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience and be board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
