Customer Aftermarket Value Stream Manager

Our Power and Controls division is searching for a Customer Aftermarket Value Stream Manager to lead a small commercial engines program within the Engine Control Systems (ECS), Small Commercial Aftermarket Program team. As an APM, you will lead the Pratt and Whitney Small Engines PW800 Aftermarket Program Management Team (A-PMT), and ensure seamless management of aftermarket contracts, schedule, performance, and on-time delivery for the sustainment portion of the life cycle of the program. This includes everything from pursuit and order capture, produce to deliver, service / support, and long-term strategic business planning. In this role you are positioned as face of the organization to both internal and external customers.
This is a hybrid role based ideally in Windsor Locks, CT. The team would consider candidates close to other P&C locations. Anticipated travel is roughly 20% and may include international travel.
What You Will Do
- Lead a small engines aftermarket / sustainment program to ensure adherence to program plans, schedules, and sustainment plans under their responsibility and recommend adjustments where needed.
- Provide timely communication with customers, team members, and executives.
- Responsible for the overall customer relationship, satisfaction, and aftermarket business performance.
- Indirectly lead a matrixed value stream Program Management Team (PMT) including contracts, engineering, quality and operations.
- Establish milestones, develop, and own program plans, schedules, budgets, and monitor allocation of resources.
- Provide input to business growth strategies.
- Provide input to strategic planning efforts for sustainment programs.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality.
- Participate in the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes, including coordinating preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements, specifications and financial conditions of contracts to ensure compliance to protect the organizations' interests.
- Communicate program activity, and status to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a university degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experienceQualifications We Prefer
Experience managing products or programs, and direct customer engagement.Experience with ECS (Engine Control Systems) products, including design, integration, lifecycle management.Experience influencing large, cross-functional or matrixed teams across multiple disciplines and geographies.Experience with RTX Lifecycle Management Program (RLPM)Ability to travel as necessary for the role.What We Offer
