ICU RN Job Details Location : Lexington, KY 40508 (Kentucky healthcare jobs) Assignment Length : 14 weeks (12 / 2 / 2025 - 3 / 10 / 2026) Setting : Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – 4 West ICU Unit Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 30) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1910 - $1960 Employment Type : Travel nursing assignment Registered Nurse Qualifications Current and active KY or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience in a hospital setting BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Successful completion of onboarding exams : EKG, Advanced Math, Med / Pharmacology, General ICU competency, and CORE exams COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical / religious exemptions considered) One professional reference from a charge nurse or supervisor required Local travelers within 75 miles are not eligible No licensure hits accepted ICU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU Operate and manage ICU equipment, including mechanical ventilators, arterial lines, Flotrac, and chest tubes Administer and titrate vasoactive drips and sedation medications Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans Float to other hospital units or affiliate hospitals as needed Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and clinical procedures Why Choose Lexington, KY for Your Travel Nursing Job?
