Job Overview :

The Accounting Manager is responsible for financial reporting, including preparing and reviewing financial statements and maintaining the financial ERP system. S / he will also support forecasting and budgeting activities. This role requires a deep understating of accounting principles, financial analysis and the ability to create and maintain financial models.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare weekly and monthly entries required for month end close.
• Collaborate with Plant Controller to maintain and ensure accurate cost records for manufactured and purchased items.
• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable Manager and Director of Purchasing and Accounts Payable to ensure daily and monthly reconciliations are performed and variances resolved.
• Direct, mentor and develop inventory analyst.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Provide financial support including budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis to Department Heads.
• Support financial planning initiatives by developing financial models and scenario analyses.
