Healthcare Setting : Operating Room – Orthopedic focus (total joint procedures)

Start Date : October 31, 2025

End Date : January 30, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (07 : 00 - 15 : 30)

Hours per Week : 40

Holiday Coverage : Must work at least every other holiday

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1750-$1870

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Ohio RN license or compact state nursing license

Minimum 18 months recent Operating Room (OR) experience, with strong background in orthopedic surgery and total joint replacements

At least 18 months of permanent OR RN experience prior to travel assignments

Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification

Recent (within 6 months) Epic charting experience

One recent supervisory reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the OR specialty

Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation

Travel Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver skilled perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room, focusing on orthopedic procedures such as total joint replacements

Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Utilize Epic EMR for accurate and timely clinical documentation

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and healthcare regulations

Participate in orientation and required clinical assessments

Demonstrate flexibility by working every other holiday as required
