Our emergency department supports walk-in emergencies as well as referrals from the primary veterinarian community.  We have a large, fully equipped, multi-unit ICU with a separate room for isolation and a room just for cats. Our emergency department team is fortunate to have access to internal medicine services six days a week, for supportive services and consultation. Job Description Horizon is looking for a knowledgeable and eager  Emergency Veterinarian  or  Critical Care Veterinarian  who approaches their role with kindness and dedication and is ready to join the Horizon Emergency & Critical Care Team!  If emergency surgery is your passion, you will find ample opportunities to pursue this, as well as many other aspects of veterinary medicine. We are looking for an individual with a positive attitude, confidence, who is detail oriented and diligent. Qualifications DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school. Valid veterinary license to practice in California. Previous experience in emergency or critical care preferred but not required. Strong communication skills and a commitment to client education. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-doctor environment.
