Warehouse Associate
This role involves categorizing freight, organizing and palletizing products, and collaborating in a team setting to ensure efficient deliveries. A typical day includes following instructions to prepare shipments, checking and counting items, packing boxes, and maintaining records.
Responsibilities
Follow instructions from your computer, paperwork, or supervisor to prepare shipments.
Count and verify items before shipping, reporting any missing or damaged items to your supervisor.
Pack boxes, apply labels, and ensure accurate weight measurements.
Load trucks or containers manually.
Use a computer to track product locations and shipment status.
Report any broken equipment or issues to your supervisor.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Complete daily reports and other necessary paperwork.
Adhere to company rules and safety guidelines.
Assist with additional tasks as requested.
Essential Skills
Experience in shipping and warehouse operations.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Proficiency in using RF Scanners, Receivers, Picking, and Loading.

Work Environment
Work is performed in a warehouse setting with available shifts including 1st shift from 6am to 2 : 30pm, 2nd shift from 2pm to 10 : 30pm, and 3rd shift from 10pm to 6 : 30am. The environment requires attention to safety and cleanliness, and casual attire is suitable.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Northampton, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.30 - $22.80 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
